Born in Como, Italy, from a young age Misty has nurtured a marked talent in fashion and tailoring. As a teenager she decided to move to Milan to pursue her passion. She attended the Kandinsky Fashion Institute. It was then that she started to explore the fashion world and, in 2004, she began working as a designer and assistant for a well renowned specialist clothes store in Milan. After two years, she decided to take what she had learned, cut loose and start Misty Couture. Misty began with a unique dark gothic style which has since transformed into a more sophisticated design. With the help of the internet she has been able to showcase her clothes and to make a name for herself. Through this medium, famous singer Syria contacted Misty to learn more about her collections and has since become a testimonial of her brand.

Since 2005, Misty has organised and managed catwalks all over Italy and has done many photo shoots with professional photographers including: Erica Fava, Mirko Bettini, Alex Giacomelli, Giorgio Mondolfo, Steve Emme and many others.

Misty is always looking for new styles, inspiration and sartorial techniques. In July 2007 she attended a specialisation course at the Burgo Fashion Academy in Milan to improve her skills, with particular emphasis on tailoring and pattern cutting. In 2009 she moved to London to find new inspiration and attend London College of Fashion.

Since then Misty has moved around the UK a number of times, working with popular models Fae Raven and Jessica Wolf as well as artists Virgin Xtravaganzah, Hungry, Pi the Mime and photographers Terence Mendoza and Newo Imagery making Manchester & Islington Mill her current studio residence.
