Join Islington Mill this Saturday for a day of open studios, exhibitions, workshops, music and performances.
Peek behind studio doors, meet the artists and discover the creativity happening throughout the Islington Mill community. Spend an hour exploring or stay for the whole day—and enjoy some sunshine in the courtyard along the way.
Open Studios: 12–6pm
Explore studios across Islington Mill, New Islington Mill, the Engine House and Unit 4, with exhibitions, performances, workshops and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creative community.

1838 A5 Exhibition
A group exhibition bringing together artists and studio holders from across Islington Mill, celebrating the diversity of creative practices at the Mill.
FKA Club: 2–7pm
DEAD AIR: Salford Acid Labs will broadcast the best in Manchester and Salford’s queer DJ talent from Islington Mill. Open to visitors from 2pm.

Workshops, exhibitions and performances will take place throughout the day.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at independent media production.
Fifth-Floor Intentional Home for Queer Artists and Residencies
Open House sessions will take place at 2pm and 4pm.
Meet resident stewards Temi and Sam and discover how you—or groups you know—can access the space.

The DEAD AIR crew will take over the FKA Club space to launch their brand-new record label, DEAD AIR MUSIC.
Come for an hour or stay for the whole day. Everyone is welcome.
