Manchester's first and only burlesque and retro pin up artist and member of burlesque double act The Chantilly Belles
Burlesque art residency in Sunderland.
I have been directing work for a new art residency working with Art-Wave in Sunniside, Sunderland for the last few months. I'm so excited about this project as we are using burlesque as a tool to learn and convey information about the history of the area. I've created a blog about the venture which you can read on my Myspace page on the link below to see how the things progress! Entries are numbered 1-9 so far.
I've recently painted a portrait of the star of Channel Four's Faking It Burlesque Special, Scarlet Fever which was unvieled at Scarlet's own club night, Stoke on Trent Burlesque. You can find out more about this on my website on the link below.
