The Tings Tings are duo Katie White and Jules Di Martino who both write, record and produce their own material. Consisting of essentially drums and vocals, aided by loops, electric guitar and a massive bass drum, the band create surprisingly full and complete pop songs.
The Ting Tings are currrently on the their 1st headline tour of the UK and are cropping up all over the place, check their myspace for dates. A small tour of the US follows in May.
'Thats not my name' was released on May 11th and is the current UK No. 1.
The debut album 'we started nothing' is released on May 19th in the UK and May 20th in USA. You can preorder via the myspace page links.
The rest of the year will be, well who knows....
